3. Test procedure
1) Collect the freshly feces sample with a cotton swab, or collect sample directly from the rectum. If you are screening for diarrhea-free pigs, please collect sample from the rectum. It is not advisable to collect dry fecal samples because the collection of dry feces often results in false positives due to excessive sample collection.
2) Immediately insert the swab into the collection tube containing the sample buffer and rotate the swab over at least 10 times on the tube wall and mix the solution so that the specimen dissolves as much as possible in the solution. Squeeze the cotton swab on the tube wall so that the liquid is squeezed out as much as possible and discard the swab.
3) If the fecal particles is larger, you can stand for 1-2 minutes, so that the larger particles precipitate.
4) Remove the test card from the sealed bag. Place the test card on the flat surface, draw 5 drops of the clear liquid of upper layer to the sample well("S" mark.) with a dropper.
5) Wait for 10-15 minutes to determine the results at room temperature. The results will be invalid when read more than 15 minutes.
